See other report. Current balance in checking is $14,573.17. We are now charged a fee per deposit. We made a deposit to the caterer for the Jazz Dinner Dance. Mirmont fees and transportation fees were submitted to be paid. We received a bill from Music in the Parks for the amount of $2,895.00, for our trip to Marine World. ($43 per student, plus the transportation fees).
Isela will activate the phone tree to call to remind parents about the Pops Concert and Open House, March 4th.
Nothing to report at this time.

Old Business
Winter Concert – due to the large number of concert attendees, we had to deal with lines of people for dessert and a lack of chairs. Discussion ensued about concert setup to ease the situation.
Eagle Logo Contest – we need a representative to sit on the judging committee.
Karen Conover will go to the next Athletic Booster meeting to announce our Jazz Dinner Dance.
Pops Concert
Mr. Wong will hand out a sign up sheet for students to estimate how many parents/relatives will show up for the Pops Concert, so that we can get a ballpark figure. Also, a letter will go out asking for various food items. Food items will be due March 1st.
Karen Conover will check with Hostess to see if we can get the French bread from them, at a discount price. She mentioned that if we are short of pasta, we could go to Olive Garden, Pasta Pomodoro, etc.
Dessert – cakes from Costco.
We will need to borrow big pots from parents.
Mr. Wong will check again for the use of the foods room for the day of the concert.
The plan will be for the students to eat at 5pm.
Pricing will be the same as last year.
Students brought up the concert dress issue.
We need to check on plexiglass displays and large paperclips for the silent auction displays.
Karen Conover will have her class set up tables.
Water pitchers at the church are not in that great of shape. We will need to look into getting pitchers or borrowing from parents.
Kathy Butler brought up the idea of having the caterer donate 6-8 dinners for the student cleanup committee. Either that, or we could pay for their dinners, as happened last year.
Cleanup committee of students: Samantha Bogosian volunteered.
Baskets have been started by the students.
Brian Quock has not yet heard back about the drinks. By the next meeting, he will know.
We need signs to direct people to the restrooms.
Brian Quock mentioned that he may be able to get a professional jazz saxophone player to come in a play a short set, as to give students a break, during the dinner dance.
Anne Damron showed a sample table covering, with black and white music notes on one side and red, white, and blue, on the other side.
