AHS Administration Liaison-
The administration is involved in registration.
There will be fewer counselors next year.
Kathy Burgardt thanked the parents for their support for the students.
Old Business
FUSD budget cuts:
Registration has changed to where students cannot take band and foreign
language at the same time unless the student takes marching band which
would free up a period in the day. The registration forms allow
only 6 classes in the schedule and marching band will be added in later.
There is a bill going to the State that will reinstate that school
districts can decide whether Marching Band will receive P.E credit or
not. It will be voted on March 20th.
Pops Concert:
For the concert we need volunteer: ticket sellers, and silent auction
monitors, door guards and food helpers.
We will separate the items for a lower price item versus higher price
item.
We will split up the lines into 3, for people who won auction items and
for the person writing the receipts for the items.
Food items: we have some sauce, noodles and olive oil donated so far.
Action
item 3:
Mr. Wong will try to get a sign ups for marching band sheet in the AAA
concert, so we have an idea of who will join marching band next year.
Diana will go to THJS to talk to the principal about who will join
Marching Band.
Jennie will email the bill going to the State regarding Marching Band
and P.E credit.
Diana will forward that we need someone to pick up the Delgado photo
auction items.
