Nothing to report
Kathy Butler mentioned the upcoming July 4th parade. The July 4th parade for 2004 will end at American High School. A parent group asked for approval for food booths at the end of the parade, since it is right here, at school. We will have a booth and sell food. Brian Quock mentioned that we might be able to get donations, if we plan enough in advance. Possible food items could include hot dogs, cotton candy, garlic fries, kettle corn, etc.

Jazz Dinner Dance. We need to put the time frame on the tickets. Sue Mayer mentioned that we need 6 people to do the bussing of tables. Also, everyone bussing needs to know what to do. Finally, all the students who arrived for setup need be directed to help, instead of finding ways to avoid work. We need to post signs and mention that there is no smoking. Kathy Butler mentioned that maybe the starting prices were too high on some items, since they had to be lowered during the Silent Auction. We will need to address this next year, for starting bids.
We will need parent drivers for CMEA and the Music in the Parks Festival.
AAA Concert – we will sell items at this free concert.
The Final Concert will include an ice cream social. The ice cream will be served at the end.
David Mayer moved to adjourn the meeting and Brian Quock seconded. Meeting adjourned at 8:45pm.
Our next BPO Meeting will be Tuesday, May 11, 2004.
