Meeting called to order at 7:48 pm.
Corrections to Agenda: The date should read February 7th 2009, not
February 10th 2009
Motion to approve minutes from previous meeting made by Laurie and
seconded by Judy.
Treasurer's Report- Judy Caballeros
Checking Balance as of February 2nd: $ 8, 347.14 Checking Balance as of
February 28th : $9,176.11 Savings $5,518.11 Our Total is $14,744.22
Reimbursement
Mr. Wong- $420.00 for Easter See's
$408.15- for WP Truck Rental
Judy- $209.32- Pops food
$73.91- Oakland Snacks
$35.40- for AAA water
$5.25- Pep band water
Isela- $188.47 for Fairfield food
We need to transfer $4,809.15 from the BPO account to the school
account to cover fall transportation costs.
Fred made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report, seconded by Allie .
Sylvia made a motion to accept the bills, seconded by Renuka. Motion
passed to pay the bills.
Fred made a motion to amend to move funds from the BPO account to the
School account, seconded by Cameron.
Membership report- Diana/Renuka/Sridevi
We did get a Pop's Concert ad in the Tri-city Voice.
Publicity Report- Sylvia
Nothing to report
Fundraising report- Jennie/ Brandon/ Ruth/Diana
We will be selling water and chips at the AAA concert for $1.00.
We will also put three left over silent auction items out and split the
profits between the 3 schools.
Action Item1: Diana will continue to look into the BJ's fundraiser.

Action Item2:
Judy will look on the United website to see if they will provide
snacks/drinks for the Hawaii trip.
AHS Administration Liason- Kathy Burgardt
Kathy presented the volunteer recognition month awards to helpers of
the band.
Old Business
Pops concert- It went very well.
We made $1,168 for Pops admission, and $ 1,793.00 for the silent
auction. We were $200 short of the minimum bid.
We will be able to use the school phone tree for getting concert
information out to the school population.
New Business
AAA- the set up of the concert will be slightly different and we will
also set up tables for the concert.
Board elections will be next month. We will email inviting people who
are interested in a position for the new board.
Action Item3:
Diana will email to invite people to do the new positions for the board.
Student Forum
Charles mentioned a Panda Express fundraiser where we could get 20%
profit without using a flyer.
Action Item4:
Charles will look into dates/times for the best way to do the Panda
Express location.
Fred moved to adjourn the meeting Cameron seconded. Motion passed by
those in attendance. Meeting adjourned at 9:29 pm. The next meeting is
May 12th, 2009 at 7:30pm.
