Minutes
Anne motioned to approve the minutes and Denise seconded.

Treasurer’s Report- Kathy Butler
Current balance in checking is: $ 18,863.29. Savings is $2,723.64. Our Total is: $21,636.93.
Anne motioned and Anthony seconded to approve the treasurers report.

Membership Report- Denise Gavello
We collected names, address and phone numbers for potential future band members at the Attendance Area concert.

Publicity Report-
Nothing to report


Fundraising Report- Anthony Nunes
We had a Pizza Italia fundraiser and made $90.00.
We are still waiting to hear from Rubios’ and Pick Up Stix.
We are waiting for emails or phone calls from the Fun Co.
If we want to submit a letter for the Washington Township Veterans Hall, we will probably get it again for next year’s Jazz Dinner Dance.
We made $3,955.00 at the Jazz Dinner Dance.
We are waiting for the $250 security deposit refund to come in.

Directors Report- See other Report
We watched a tape of the past marching season to show the incoming freshmen what band is like. The tape shows parade and field show competitions at CCBR Madera.
We also listened to the field show music for 2005 Riverdance.


Old Business
Thank you letters were sent out to Fremont Swim School, Cresco Truck Rental Company, Dreyer’s Foundation, Washington Township Veteran’s Hall, Grad Night and Chef Breedlove.

New Business
Suggestions for new equipment needed:

  1. A heavy-duty wagon at least 2 at $60 for a total of $120.
  2. A portable barbeque for the band trips- $179 each we need at least 3 for a total of $537.
  3. 3 cables at $25 each, for a total of $75

We are going to try to put together a letter to the hardware stores asking for a donation of the barbeque.
Anne made a motion to spend $732 for the purchase of the wagons and barbeque grills and Linda seconded. Motion approved by those in attendance.

We are having a Food and Logistics committee for next fall.

Percussion equipment needed:
  1. Musser M55 2.5 octave aluminum bells-$855.99
  2. Yamaha Concert Toms set of 4 Four- $999.99
  3. 2 Musser Timpani Tote- $135.00
  4. 2 Remo Max Marching heads - $37.25 each
  5. Vic Firth Bass Drum Mallets- $23.99
Grand total of $2,224.47 plus shipping and tax.
Motion to buy the percussion equipment made by Donna and seconded by Lucy. Approved by those in attendance.

The band room will be renovated over the summer.

Motion to adjourn by Anne and Anthony seconded. Meeting adjourned 9:36 pm.
