Jazz Dinner Dance FAQs for Students
1.    Where is it at? The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3551 Decoto Road
2.    What time is it? The event starts at 7pm and ends at 10:30pm.
3.    Do we set up? Yes
4.    When do we set up? Right after school ends on Friday
5.    When do we play? We will start performing at 7:30pm, during dinner for the guests
6.    When do we eat? 8:15pm
7.    Will there be any food left for us? Will they put any aside for us? Yes
8.    How long do we play? We will play 2 sets of 45 minutes each. We will also play some music at the end of the evening.
9.    What kind of music do we play? Jazz and a variety of styles, including rock, pop, and funk.
10.    What music do we play? TBA
11.    Are we going there right after school? Yes
12.    Can we go home between school and the Dinner Dance? With the short amount of time between setting up and the actual performance, it is highly unlikely.
13.    Are we wearing Tuxedos? Due to the high cost of tuxedo rental, we will not wear them.
14.    Where can we store our concert clothes for the day of the Jazz Dinner Dance? On a garment rack, in the band room, at school.
15.    When does it end? 10:30pm is when the performance ends, but we will need to stay and clean up.
16.    Do we clean up? Yes
17.    How much will we get back from the Jazz Dinner baskets? That depends on how much people are willing to bid on the items.
18.    Will the starting bid be at or slightly over what the sections paid, so they can get more back than what they paid for it? Yes, it is a fundraiser.
19.    What is a silent auction? It is an auction where bids are written down on paper. The highest bidder at the end of the evening, at the close of the silent auction, will be the winner of the item.
20.    When will the silent auction be and how long will it take? It will continue throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to bid early and often.
21.    Can we eat during the announcements of the silent auction? No
22.    Do we have to eat the JDD food? Yes
23.    Can we bring food, or leave to get our own food? No
