Bring: Christmas Carols on Parade, instrument, lyre, uniform, Santa hat, lights of some sort (shop at Walgreen’s or Party America)

4:10 P.M. Band Room open - come dressed in band uniform
4:40 Be in your seat, instrument in case near you. Be on time.
4:45 Load vehicles and head for Niles Blvd. & Sullivan Underpass. We will need parent drivers, so please ask them in advance. Participant parking is located on side streets or in the railroad depot at the corner of Sullivan’s Underpass and Mission Blvd.
5:00 Arrive and set up for parade (parade block) at Sullivan Underpass, between Niles Blvd. and the railroad bridge overpass. We are entry #6. Be ready to play, but do not play until directed.
5:05 Stretch and marching warmup

5:30 Music warmup

5:55 Tune in sections, then together

6:15 Form parade block, prepare to move

6:30 Parade starts. The reviewing stage will be located in front of the main Christmas tree on Niles Blvd. on the LEFT side. Ideal spacing is 25 feet between units. This is a forward motion parade.
After Parade: We will de-stage in the parking lot next to the Niles Merchant Train Car. Load vehicles and return to AHS.

Reminder:  When in public, you are performing. Do not play after we finish playing together. Let our wonderful sounds echo in the ears of the audience. Remember to always leave them wanting to hear more (not wishing you would stop)! When given compliments, smile and nod. Please do not speak or behave negatively.
