The World had changed. A mist seemed to hang over all the World, shading it form the sun, that at one time, never seemed to stop shining. It was as if the World was dying. And dying it was. But not in the way that you'd imagine.

Life had been good, until the entire adult population was wiped out by a deadly virus that swept the Earth. No one knew where it came from - the government said that it was a plague from the stars.

Children looked on helplessly as their mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers were killed. Suddenly, they were left to fend for themselves. There was no radio, no TV, no shops, clothes, food or water. How would they survive? Their lives had taken a turn for the worst.

But that mist that semmed to block out the sun now seemed to be shifting, when the kids started living in make-shift homes, in little groups called Tribes. The sun started shinning again, when they realised that as bad as things got, they still had each other. They were building a new world, a better world than the one that they had left behind...
