PECAN MEATLOAFYou'll find the taste of the pecans totally pervades the meatloaf, giving it a real weird flavour. You can of course, leave out the pecans for a good meatloaf!
But then again, there is no accounting for taste! Someone may actually like this!INGREDIENTS:
1 LB Ground Beef
2 Eggs (beaten)
1 8oz can Tomato Sauce
1/4 cup chopped Onion
2 Tbsp chopped Green Pepper
1/4 cup Cracker crumbs
1 slice crumbled Bread
1 Tsp Worcester Sauce
Dash dried Thyme
12-15 sliced PecansPROCEDURE
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Knead by hand. Place in an ovenproof dish and shape into a loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
