CROCKPOT STEW

This is an ideal recipe if you are going out for the day, and require a good hot meal when you get home, perfect for cold winters nights.

INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef or lamb
3 carrots
3 medium size potatoes
1 small onion
1 small can tomato soup
1 small can pork & beans
1 can peas
1 tsp worcester sauce garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.

Other vegetables such as sweet corn, green beans, turnips, etc can be used if desired.

PROCEDURE

Fry beef or lamb in pan until brown. Wash and drain in hot water to remove fat. Place in crockpot.
Slice carrots, onions and cube potatoes, add to pot. Add peas, pork & beans, worcester sauce.
Add tomato soup, refill can to about 2/3 full of water, add water to pot. Sprinkle in salt, pepper and
garlic powder, stir contents until all well mixed together. Cook on low for a minimum of 6 hours, but
can be left on much longer if required.
