In 1967, The Seekers had their biggest success of the 60's. Written by Tom Springfield and Jim Dale (of 'Carry on' fame), 'Georgy Girl' was the title song from the film starring Lynn Redgrave and made it to number one in America as well as in Britain and Australasia.
