View of the front of the building.  The asphalt shingle and brick textures are procedural.  The asphalt paving stain was an experiment I’d like to improve on.  The foreground plants are by POV-Tree.

This project was designed by two of my colleagues.  I did the visualizations.  The raytracings were created using AutoCAD 2002, ACAD2POV, and POV-RAY v. 3.6.

View of the back of the building.  Radiosity was one of the defaults in rad_def.inc.  More POV-Tree bushes.

 

Interior view of the adult wing.  No radiosity this time, although the image would have benefited from it.  The image map on the bookshelves was very effective and simple, I think.
