November 1st

     Disney Studios/Epcot Day

We got up very early this morning to take advantage of Early Entry at the Disney Studios.  We skipped breakfast and headed over before the park opened.  We parked in the front of the lot, with only a handful of people entering early.  We got to the front gate just as the park opened!  We got Fast Passes for the Hollywood Tower of Terror and rode the Rocking Roller Coaster twice while we waited for the passes to go into effect.

After our Tower of Terror riding, we got new Fast Passes for Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  while we waited for those to go in effect, we did the Animation Studio Tour.  we have never done this before, and found it very interesting.  The animator did several drawings from Disney's latest projects due out this year.  It was unbelievable how fast he could create these characters.  The kids were very impressed.  Amanda wants to be a animator now.  The tour is about 45 minutes that ends with a movie demonstrating the past animated features.  This is where is all began, and it's great to see they are still creating quality animated movies.

We saw the Mermaid show and decided it was time to grab a bite to eat..  After lunch, we rode on The Great Movie Ride and the Drew Carey Sound Stage.  We just missed the Doug Live show, so we decided to head back to our rooms and get some naps in for the kids.
