The Sounds of Love

 

The sounds of a seal
Further along the beach
Gathering his morning meal
While the stars are still in reach
The steady flow of the tide
Creeping up along the shore
You standing at my side
Our hearts beat alone no more
The autumn leaves on the ground
Softly breaking beneath your feet
A soft and soothing sound
Being broken by one so sweet
The silence of the early morn
With the town still fast asleep
Those moments our love was born
In the sounds I will always keep
