could I declare my love for you any other way,
and approach the dawn with firm resolve,
that I too am loved, and again,
this isn't my fantasy or dream.

could the dawn shead more light on this
to know the past is alive within me, and my future
being written in my hopes and dreams,
to have dawn find a better way

for it was in the darkness of outer light,
that I let my love fade, and heart die
but here comes the dawn again,
as the solar burst breaks a new day

yet shadows dance through broken heart,
and alone,
they grow and thrive, and find
a place still cold and dark

I beg the light, and pray for day,
come in and shine so brillant
for cold metal stings
as flesh warms in dreams anew

For too I need Love,
to banish darkness and dancers
and now I see a morning Light,
is this my hope and final dawn?
