Subject: Poem: To Ray Gen rated G
I started this one back in January and then the muse left me for a
while. I just now finished it. I know I have the rhythm of a stick
when it comes to poems (you know, getting the meter right and stuff)
but I still like writing them. Set sometime during season three or
four, I haven't figured out when yet though.
To Ray
by Buck
I was lonely, a stranger in a strange land
But you cared for me, reached out to me, took my hand
We have our fights but we always see each other through
You'd lay down your life for me and I'd do the same for you
You've been there through good time and bad, when no one else
understood
You've cared more for me and done more for me then I thought anyone
could
You're closer than a friend, to me, you're like a brother
The other Ray is also my friend, but you can't be replaced by another
Even though circumstance keeps us so far part
you will always be close to me, you are always in my heart.
