Born in the Great Rift, Garth left his family for a calling to the cloth. Upon finishing his studies, he joined up with a caravan heading to the coast.

After an uneventful trip, Garth signed on as a healer on board the fast merchant vessel the Eagle Flight. The ship was headed to Waterdeep, and the sparkle of the City of Splendors enticed him to leave his shipmates and make his life there.

Garth joined the mercenary training school run by the Husteen Noble Family and because of his abilities, they signed him on to help train the young men in the art of war. Garth has risen to the Rank of Guard Sergeant. Garth is respected by the men that he trains and by superiors.
