IT IS truly meet and right to thank the Creator of the world, to worship and to praise Him. He whom the heavens and their hosts praise, corporeal and incorporeal, the sun, the moon, the stars, the earth, the seas and all those firstborn whose names are written in the heavenly Jerusalem; angels and archangels, principalities, powers, thrones, dominions, celestial virtues and cherubim full of eyes, the six-winged seraphim veiling their faces and their feet fly to one another proclaiming His holiness, crying holy!

† THOU art holy in truth, O King of the worlds and Giver of all holiness. † Holy is Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ † and holy is Thy Holy Spirit, who searches out Thy hidden mysteries. That He will remember all the true teachers who have confirmed us in the true faith, from Saint James of Jerusalem even until this day, let us pray to the Lord!

THUS did the Word of God truly suffer in the flesh and was sacrificed and broken on the cross, sundering His soul from His body while His godhead was in no way separated from His soul or His body. For the sins of the whole world and their forgiveness did He die on the Cross † and His soul came and was united with His body. And He turned us from wrong practice to right deeds. By His blood He reconciled and united the hosts of heaven with us, His people with the nations, and the soul with the body. The third day He rose again from the tomb. And He is One Immanuel, indivisible into two natures after the indivisible union of His godhead and His humanity.
Thus we believe and confess and confirm that this Flesh is of this Blood and that this Blood is of this Flesh.

O GOD, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, blessed by cherubim and seraphim, exalted by thousands and myriads of heavenly and rational hosts, sanctifier and perfecter of the offerings and fruits offered to Thee; sanctify our bodies, minds, souls and spirits that we may with pure hearts and unashamed faces call upon Thee, O God and heavenly Father, saying:

OUR Father,
Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
