Niagara Falls |

After touring up to Niagara-On-The-Lake at the north end of the canal, we cruised down the Niagara River. We didn't visit any of the wineries (another time we will!) but did stop at a fruit market for some fresh cherries. This is the first real tourist attraction we hit. The floral clock pattern of plants is never repeated year to year. The hands of the clock are shaped like crutches to represent Crippled Children and the proceeds from the coins tossed in the fountain are donated to that organization annually. |

It's the morning of day two and we got to see the true power and majesty of Niagara Falls. We did the tour behind the Falls and it is magnificent... |
... it is breathtaking... |
...and very, very WET!! |
In the tunnels behind the falls, you can look out and see...well, lots of water and nothing else. Mom doesn't like tunnels, as we know, so we went, looked and left. |
