I don't hold back.
My feelings run at full speed,
Pedal to the metal.
I'll take my chances if I crash.
I would rather climb the highest peak
And risk the steepest fall
Than wander safely somewhere part-way there.
I'd lose the view.
I'd miss the rush I feel
Whenever I'm with you.
I'm not afraid of falling;
I can get back up.
I'd rather feel all-out
In every part of me
And risk the hurt and heartbreak
Than be half-hearted.
I'd sooner feel the heat and
Face the freezing cold
Before I'd live a lukewarm life.
I would rather open up
To pain and anguish
Than keep my soul intact,
Untouched.
