Rupert Grint
Biography
Rupert Michael Grint is born on the 24th of August 1988, in a small town in Hertfordshire, England. He is the eldest of 5 children. He has got one brother (James) and three sisters (Georgina, Samantha and Charlotte). His father (Nigel) is a race-car memorial dealer, his mother (Jo) a homemaker.
Rupert likes to draw, play pool, loves soccer, likes to swim and ride his bike. Since his 14th birthday he tries to ride a unicycle (because riding it looks really good on TV). Last summer Rupert started to play golf. One of his favourite hobbies is sleeping. Another hobby is playing video games (Medal of honour) on his games console.
Rupert's favourite actor is Jim Carrey. He likes movies like Shrek, Ace Ventura, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Dumb and Dumber.
Rupert likes all kinds of music, but his favourite is rap. He also plays the guitar.
Rupert attends an all boys-school in his hometown. His favourite subjects in school are arts, science, biology, physics and chemistry. Mixing potions and stuff came in handy with the first Potter movie.
"Ron was always my favourite character, because I feel like I relate to him. We've both got red hair, both like sweets, we've both got lots of brothers ands sisters and both scared of spiders. Ron is really funny. I also feel kind of sorry for him, because he's always got on hand-me-downs. And he's got a fat, lazy rat.
When I read the books, I imagined that the family of Ron Weasley was my family. After reading the books, I knew the Weasleys inside out.
Rupert would also like to play Malfoy. 'He's pretty nasty all times, and that would be quite fun. It would be cool to have the audience against me.
I am the biggest Harry Potter fan, I even was before I knew there was going to be a film. I read all the books. The fourth one is amazing. It's scary. But I like all the books. You've got to read them all to get the complete Harry Potter experience. In the third book I like all the bits about scabbers being an Animagus. And I like that Ron gets an owl.
I can't wait until The Order of the Phoenix comes out. It's going to be cool."
