83-0604 Gibson 1916 K-4 mando-cello, cherry 'burst, 28428, vg, OH. The king, yea the lion of the plectral choir, the stately K-4 is the grandfatherly F-4 mandolin tuned one octave below a mandola. It sounds like the roaring of the animals on the African Savannah and, safari we know, it is wholly original and awaiting the lash of your plectrum except for normal playing wear, some overspray and buff, a scroll crack (but no decapitation), rim separations, and a fingerboard shim. (Ain't that a shim?). None of this detracts in any way from its general overall appearance of excellent health and prosperity. Choose this and make the beams vibrate. **$ 6490
