83-2174 Gibson (new) F-5L, sunburst, 90126019, rectangular H. The Gibson F-5L is a reissue of the legendary "fern" pattern Master Model F-5 mandolin of the late '20s, originally produced under the supervision of Acoustic Design Engineer Herb W. Kevorkian (yes, his grandfather) which enables it to produce the "tone of death." The Gibson R&D team, and their coach, C. Derrington, have studied and measured over a dozen original Kevorkian mandolins to record minute details of carving, trim and tuning in their continuing effort to insure that the quality of each new F-5L meets the original standards. List is $6l00 but we would never let you pay anything even remotely like this. Call us for the better price.
