Installing Omni-X on your Windows 95/98/NT workstation
Downloading and Installing Omni-X
The software that is offered here is a demo version of Omni-X, an
X server for Windows 95/98/NT. Omni-X is easy to install:
- Click the Download link, which appears below, to get your copy of
omnix.exe, making note of the location of the saved copy on your
own workstation.
- After the download is complete, double-click the downloaded copy of
omnix.exe on your workstation; Omni-X will prompt you to make the
necessary choices to complete the installation.
Restrictions:
The size of this download is 7,921,149 bytes. Typical download time
on our local net (where speed averages around 280 Kbytes/sec) is about
30-40 seconds. In order to complete the installation, you will need a
minimum of 40 Megabytes of disk space on your local hard drive. This
is a fully functional demo. The software that is offered here is fully
functional and is in every manner equivalent to a licensed copy of the
same set of programs, with one exception: This copy is for your use for up
to 15 days. After those 15 days have passed, this software will uninstall
itself. Now, if you can cope with the afore mentioned restrictions,
Download your
copy of Omni-X.
