Angela was fairly certain that she'd be seeing more dragons than just the ones that were flying around the Nidus. She just had this weird feeling... Ramon had gone visiting elsewhere, and she and Tracy were dormed together for a while. The pair got along well, but not as well as either of them did with their respective guys. The guys were the subject of their discussions more often than not. Both young women worried that their partners would damage themselves more than they already had - Angela admitted she couldn't change an addiction or cure psychosis, and they both knew that Ramon had been addicted to crack cocaine and Wade had an alcohol problem. How they wound up with two girls who would give their world for em, those girls giggled to one another, it was a mystery. What wasn't a mystery was that the nests of eggs were hatching! They both ran down to see, hopefully there would be a dragon among these breaking eggs for one or both of them? There was a commotion of eggs wobbling and breaking but only one hatched right off. It was long minutes later when another - then a whole bunch - came open. While everyone was watching the colorful hatchlings lurch around on the sands, one in particular went unnoticed toward Angela. Finally, she butted up against the white-skinned young woman, and Angela looked down to see a Dusk Green waiting for attention. On instinct, Angela said, "yes Retecu? Oh!" She realized that she knew the hatchling's name - that meant... that meant she'd bonded! She felt a warmth in her heart, as the young dragonet heard her name. "Retecu!"

Angela noticed that Tracy had also found her friend, but she was much bigger, much more adult like. Retecu grumbled, I'm not grown up enough for you? "Retecu, that's not what I was thinking at all!" Angela chided the dusk-colored dragoness. "You'll be exactly the right size for me to ride, or fly by, soon enough." That is okay too, I guess. Xcyritecu is not very quiet, she is a little odd. "I know but Tracy seems to get along well with her. They bring out the best in each other." Angela wondered whether her human love, Ramon, would be finding for himself? Would it bring out what she knew was best in him too? I bring out the best in you too, my one, you're hardly ever thinking of yourself.

At long last, everyone was trained up enough to head out. Angela stood out against the dusk shades of blue, green and pink on her dragon, brightly. But she laughed anyway, "come on, we're going home!" They soared into the skies, with the darker midnight-colored dragon and Tracy following like a shadow.
