Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine! Getting a taste of above freezing temps last week (minus the raging winds) sure was nice. Just going through a couple rounds of kindling excited to have some first time does start producing. Tracee our black otter doe did a great job for a first timer and I'm pretty sure she's gifted us a broken black otter, but we'll see they're still pretty fresh. Mylee had a tuffer time, didn't pluck and scattered her babes on the wire :S So up next we have OJ who is working hard in her nestbox and Trina who's carrying some Huck Pie babies.

Kitty Kat's babes and Dixies babes are touring around now and generously giving kisses and cuddles. Dixie has the tiniest little tort doe who is so adorable, my daughter calls her Tinkerbelle. Couple more weeks and I can start sizing them up and see if we have any show prospects.

Looks like the Manitoba Show is cancelled for the Spring anyways, perhaps we will still have one in the Fall. So it's off to Chestermere in May to start things off. I'm sooo excited to show under Allan Ormond...way to go SARBA!!

Also picked up some new colorful boys from Breeder Kaitlin Dreidger, Prairie Pets in Landmark, MB. (pictured above) They have settled in nicley and they are super friendly. As I walk by their cage they walk back and forth with me. So they're getting lots of attention for their antics. Thanks Kaitlin for these little sweeties!
