Dahi Vada

Bread Dahi vada
Ingredients
One loaf Bread
3 cups Curds
1 1/2 cup Water
1 Cucumber
2 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Jeera powder
1 tsp Amchur powder
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
Green Chillies according to taste
Raisins
Cashewnuts
Little Ghee for frying
Method
- Take two slices of bread at a time and cut the edges and cut it into four
pieces in whichever shape you like keep them aside.
- Mix curds, water, sugar
and 1 tsp of salt. Mix them well (put it in a mixie for good results).
- Grate the cucumber, cut green chillies into small pieces and then fry raisins
and cashew nuts in ghee and add all these and little bit of salt to the
filling. Put this filling in between the two slices of bread which u cut in
shapes.
- Pour some of the curd mixture in a flat container or plate put
these slices on the mixture and again pour the rest of the curd mixture on
these slices.
- You can sprinkle jeera powder, amchur powder and red chilli
powder on it.
- Put it in fridge an hour before serving and then serve.
I am
sure everybody will enjoy it the most. The edges of the bread which u cut
need not be wasted either they can be dried and make them into bread crums
or fry them and use them in soup.

Malai Sandwich

Quick Malai Sandwich
Ingredients
Bread slices: 2
2tsp cream or malai
Method:
- Apply two spoon of malayi or thick cream on slice including the ends.
- Place second slice of bread on top of the first.
.
- Serve and enjoy!

papad chat

Papadi chat
Ingredients
Flat Puris (crisp) 10 Nos
Fine Sev 50 gms.
Curd (sweetened) 1/2 cup
Tamarind chutney 2-3 tbsp.(according to taste)
Green chutney According to taste (Coriander, chillies, mint)
Boiled Potatoes 1 cup
Chat Masala
Chilli powder
Jeera powder
Method:
- Arrange puris on a plate.
- Put boiled potatoes, sev, curd and chutneys.
- Sprinkle the chat masala and powders.
- Add finely chopped onion and coriander leaves if desired sprinke more sev.

Corn chat

Ingredients
2 cup boiled corn
1 lime juice
1/4 cup chopped apple
1/4 tsp. Chilli paste
1/4 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp chat masala
1 tbsp coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 cup boiled potato cut into small bits
4 pcs. Bread cut into cube and deep fry
Method :
Mix all except bread and apple. Before serving mix bread and decorate with
sev.

pavbhaji

Pav Bhaji
Ingredients
Pav Bhaji Masala 2 tbl sp
Potato 1 Cup (Boiled and mashed)
French Beans 1 Cup (Boiled)
Carrots 1 Cup (Boiled)
Green Peas 1 Cup (Boiled)
Onions 3 Cups (Finely Chopped)
Tomatoes 3 Cups (Finely Chopped)
Capsicum 1 Cup (Finely Chopped)
Ginger 2 tsp (Finely Chopped)
Garlic 2 tsp (Finely Chopped)
Coriander enough for dressing
Salted Butter to taste
Lemon to taste
Salt to taste
Water
Pavs (squarish soft buns about 4" x 5" size)
Method:
For Bhaji
Heat butter in pan and add garlic and ginger. Fry until garlic turns slightly brown. Add the onions (keeping one cup aside for garnishing ) and fry and until transparent. Add the tomates and capsicum and fry for 2 minutes. Add all the vegetables. Add Pav Bhaji Masala and Salt and some water (add more water if u like the bhaji thin). Bring to Boil. Remove from flame. Add Coriander and Butter.
For Pavs
Slit pavs horizontally leaving one edge attached. . Apply butter (as desired) and roast open on a griddle till hot and soft with the surface crisp on both sides.
Serve hot with bhaji, a piece of lemon and chopped onion.

Pakora

Easy pakoda
Ingredients
Besan - 1 cup
Oil - for mixing and for frying
Salt - to taste
Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
Onion - finely chopped
Coriander leaves - a little
Red chilli powder - 1tsp
Method :
- Mix all the dry ingredients first.
- Mix them dry.
- Add a little oil to it.
- Then add water to it accordingly and make a half water constituent.
- Add onion and coriander leaves.
- Heat oil in tawa.
- Then take small scoops of the paste with hand and fry.
- Serve with tomato sauce.

Papad chat

Papad Chaat
Ingredients
1.Lijjat /other plain Papad (the bigger size of the papad, better it is)
2.Finely Cut Tomatoes
3.Finely chopped Onion
4Cut Coriander
5Finely Cut Chillies
Method of preparation:
- Toast the Papad in microwave for 1 min or so. OR toast it over the stove.
- Then lay it on a plate, spread finely cut onions in a layer.Continue topping it with a layer of finely cut tomato.
- Sprinkle cut coriander leaves. Sprinkle little salt and chat masala.

Paneer Pakora

Ingredients
Paneer - 1/4 kg
Basan flour - 1 cup
2 tbsp rice flour
Salt
Pepper
Green Pepper
Chat Masala- 1 tsp
Method:
- Cut Paneer into inch long pieces.
- Mix Basan, salt, pepper, corn flour in a mixing bowl with water into a thick, sticky paste.
- dip paneer into the flour.
- Drop bite - sized pakoras into hot oil.
- Deep fry on medium till golden brown.
- sprinkle chat masala on them...and serve with green chutney or tomato sauce.

Burfi

Ingredients
1. Ricotta cheese 16 oz (1 pack)
2. Dry milk powder 16 oz
3. Sugar 1 cup
4. Ghee 1 tbspoon
5. chopped pistachios 2 tbspoon
6. 1 greased thali
Method
- Heat the ghee in a kadai on medium heat.
- Add the ricotta cheese and keep stirring.
- Add the milk powder (use ricotta cheese empty box for measure dry milk
powder).
- When mixture starts to get thicken add sugar and stir until mixture start
separating from kadai.
- When done pour it in a greased thali.
- Sprinkle pistachios on mixture, let it cool.
- Cut it into small pieces, and taste it.
