Future Events and Final Page Closing

For my closing page I just want briefly go over some tournaments and series the team will encounter in the coming months. With exceptional recent performances the team has a great opportunity to continue on its success or falter and lose their grip an enigma this team has been fighting for the past few years.

Upcoming Tournaments/Series

1. The Super series is quite an intriguing match. It consists of one team called “Rest of the World” where top players are selected from top cricket playing nations. The other is the best team in the world, currently Australia winning the past two world championships. The match will be very interesting considering the Rest of the world team is literally an all-star team and Australia with a strong all-round line-up. I wouldn’t count Australia out just yet though, they have given record breaking beatings to many teams this past year including Pakistan.



2. This match-up versus England will test Pakistan’s ability to be effective against strong nations in both formats of the game. In their most recent series against West Indies May-June ‘05 they played extremely well in the ODI’s, but struggled in the test matches. On the upside though all of our top bowlers were injured and didn’t make the series. When they come back for this series it should be entertaining and more competitive.



3. The next series between these two rivals looks to be very good. As long as players of both teams are healthy this should be another thriller. Critics are arguing playing to much between these teams will lose its competitiveness, but I strongly disagree. It's just a special rivalry only people from both nations relate to no matter how many times they face each other. Look for bowling-batting battles between Shaoib Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, and Shahid Afridi against top batters of India.

Final Word

It’s been a very joyful, frustrating, and satisfying time for me building my first website. I learned a lot of the technical and presentation side of internet pages trying to get the most optimal look. It took a long time for me to get some information on some aspects of the site, but there were a few websites with phenomenal amount.
