Problem:  You want to use You want to set up a Netgear Wireless card on a XP laptop

Solution:  Follow this Howto

STEP 1: Uncheck “Use windows to setup” wireless card properties
 

START >> Control Panel >> Network Connections >> Wireless Crd >> Rtclick >> Properties >> Wireless Networks

 

 

STEP 2: Use WEP key in the Netgear Wireless Setup Utility
 

 

STEP 3: Check signal and connection
