We went to Knottsberry Farms one day, although we split up quite a few times because of varying interests. (Not everyone wanted to ride the big roller coasters, especially the ones that brought you back to where you started by going backwards). We did get a few pictures, though.
The log ride was a popular attraction. (I think Kaitlyn went on it about six times). Here, in this picture of a picture (which explains the poor quality) you can see a terrified Christina, a brave Kaitlyn, and some goofy kid waving in the back as the log starts its final plunge.
We saw this koala bear and rather unusual variety of pig at the San Diego Zoo. We were lucky the koala bear was awake, because they sleep most of the time. (We've never seen pigs like these on our Iowa vacations).
"We have some milk - you wanna?"
"No thanks."
We have some coffee - you wanna?"
"No thanks."
We have some tea - you wanna?"
"Sure - let's go there and do some shopping!"
I had the same concern about going to Mexico that I had about going to the San Diego Zoo - that I could get the kids in OK, but would have trouble getting them back out.
Christina unable to decide where she wanted to have her picture taken - in Mexico or the United States.
