But few have inspired the passion and devotion that has been given to the benevolent despot of Lativeria, Dr. Doom.
Doom originally appeared in the Hall as a Probationary Member, but his minions and servants would not rest until their master was firmly ensconced among the greats. After long and careful consideration the Hall of Evil Geniuses Membership Committee decided to grant their petition. On Sept. 26, 1997 Dr. Victor Von Doom was given full status and inducted into the Hall.

| The keeper must be evil for he doesn't like Dr.Doom but he thinks that a dog (as in Dogbert) is evil (the dork, dogs are good, cats are evil) or a genius. The other guys in the hall I agree with, their pretty cool but the fact that Doom is listed as a probationary member proves that the Keeper of the Hall of Evil Genius is evil himself, but a genius he's not, I should find the Hall of evil Evil Rejects and nominate him for that, I'm sure he would be listed way ahead of the probationary list. He has SINGLE-HANDEDLY taken on the X-Men, the FF, Thor, the Hulk, the Avengers, Captain America, the Beyonder, the Watcher, and the Silver Surfer and bested them all at one time or another. Along with many other lesser and lesser known so-called heroes. Despite being born a pauper, in a lowly gypsy tribe of wanderers, he has risen to rule a Nation. He has even at one time successfully ruled the world (see the Emperor Doom graphic novel), but in the end he found it was a boring job and so he abdicated [even though the world was better off for his greater vision and wisdom]. So come now . . . "probationary member" ? You need to do a little more research, or Doom is going to blow your tribute right out of the water! | Doom has been the most powerful villian on Earth thoughout Marvel history.
He's beaten countless numbers of people in the present, the past, the future,other realites, and just about everywhere he's been. I think the only person that hasn't fallen before Doom is the Impossible Man, only because Doom doesn't have time to waste on such pityful fools. |
