- 10 fill in the blank questions that are not just a rewording of the multiple choice questions per student in the group.
- 3 written response questions which may include diagrams. These question should be of the application variety; not just a question demanding a statement of a fact such as a definition of a term
- A crossword puzzle with a solution. Must have at least 16 words. (Not a word search) Go to Puzzlemaker.com and follow the instructions or any other similar program.
- A full answer sheet must be provided for all sections.
If anything looks the same between groups marks will be divided between the groups. Assignments will be closely looked at.
If questions appear to be copied from the text book you will not get any credit for them.
Total marks will be 35; one per multiple choice and one per fill in. Three marks per written response with a mark value based on the degree of difficulty.
Six marks for the crossword puzzle.
An addition communication mark will be assigned for neatness, grammar, spelling, use of correct scientific terms, and level of syntax.
This assignment counts as 10% of your final mark. It is tabulated in the exam category of your marking categories.
Due date for this is Jan 17 / June 16 . It would be nice to use these practice exams as review sheets for the entire class.
