The device runs on 230 V, 50/60 Hz, AC and can be mounted on any electrically operated industrial equipment like cranes, locomotives, raw material handling equipment etc. It essentially consist of a VHF radio a power supply and accessory port for additional operation like dtmf signaling, remote relay, data link etc.

a)   Cranes & electric cars - Use VHF mobile with DC 12V Linear power supply. Do NOT use SMPS in moving cars, as vibration tends to fail SMPC power supply.

b)   Diesel Locomotives - Use with DC-DC converter power    supply. (Typical Input -75V Dc,    Output - 12V, 10A, Dc)

c)   Ground plane omni directional unity gain Antenna gives the best price/performance ratio.

Telephone connectivity to VHF wireless network can be done through telephone patch, but it has got serious limitations. To have more flexibility with telephone like features, use Radio Trunking for mobile-mobile, mobile-landline and landline to mobile connections.
