There are two mailing lists that deal with Probes. One deals strictly with maintenance and care and the other is for performance-related issues. There are many knowledgeable and helpful people on both of these lists and they are therefore an excellent source of information.

The Probe maintenance list is at bh.org. Please make sure that you read the list's charter for posting guidelines. Note that this list deals solely with maintenance and care of Probe.

To subscribe to the bh.org list, send an email message to majordomo@bh.org with the message "subscribe ford-probe" in the body. No subject is necessary.

To unsubscribe to the bh.org mailing list, send an email message to majordomo@bh.org with the message "unsubscribe ford-probe" in the body. Again, no subject is necessary.

To post a message to the list, send an email message to ford-probe@bh.org with your message.

Many other commands are available through the majordomo list manager. If you are not familiar with the way in which majordomo works, send and email message to majordomo@bh.org with the message "help".

The other Probe list contains performance related discussions.

To unsubscribe to the amber.org mailing list, send an email message to listserv@amber.org with the message "unsubscribe probe-perf" in the body of the letter. And, you guessed it, no subject is necessary.

To post a message to the list, send an email message to probe-perf@amber.org with your message.

The amber.org mailing list, like the bh.org list, uses the majordomo list manager, however, it is reached through listserv@amber.org, NOT majordomo@amber.org.
