 EXPERIENCE:

Five years with USDA/Soil Conservation Service designing water conservation projects; Thirty nine years  with consulting engineering companies in project development and planning, preliminary engineering report writing,  water system hydraulic studies, rate studies, project management, water system design, office management and client liaison. During that period, preliminary reports and rate analyses were successfully completed for over 100 water companies, water districts, villages and cities.

 REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS:

  • Project Engineer, Scioto Water Company, Inc, Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Development of Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Reports for 7,000 customer water company.  Project includes analysis of existing multi-county distribution system, existing 2 mgd treatment plant, development of new well field, new water plant, cost studies, rate analyses.  Resulting project cost approximately $7 million to be financed through USDA/Rural Development. (Jeff Spradlin, Gen. Mgr., 4707 Gallia Pike, Franklin Funace, OH  45629 --740-354-9204)
  • Project Engineer, City of Lancaster, OH.  Water Master Plan for City of 35,000.  Work included system hydraulic analysis, new well field development and testing, property acquisition, water treatment alternative evaluations, cost estimates and analyses, rate impact analysis, meetings, presentations. (Dave Bornino, Water Superintendent - now employed by OhioEPA, Columbus, Ohio.)
  • Project Engineer (during Phase VII development) Jackson County Water Company, Inc. Responsibilities included Preliminary Engineering and cost analyses, rate studies, hydrologic analysis in development of new 3.5 mgd water treatment plant, new well field and 3.5 mgd collector well.  Total project cost $11 million financed through USDA/Rural Development, USEPA, HUD (Larry Foster, Gen. Mgr., 124 W. Huron St., Jackson, OH 45640 – 740-286-5929).
  • Le-Ax Water District, The Plains, Ohio. Responsibilities included Preliminary Engineering and cost analyses, rate studies, hydrologic analysis in development of new  3.0 water treatment plant, new well field and 3 mgd collector well.  Total project cost $7 million financed through USDA/Rural Development and OWDA,  (John Collins, Gen. Mgr., p. O. Box 97, The Plains, OH, 45780-0097 – 740-594-0123).
