Mr. Sherrill has over twenty-five years in managing federal rural development loan and grant programs at the state and national level.  Experience includes all aspects of program administration from writing rules, supervising and training employees, making and servicing loans and grants to communities, management of loan and grant funds during project development, and monitoring of project construction, and enforcement of loan covenants.

  • Community Program Loan Specialist; Farmers Home Administration (FmHA); Nebraska City, Nebraska—served as loan officer providing financing for agricultural enterprises, housing, public utilities and essential community facilities (6 years)
  • Community Program Loan Specialist; FmHA State Office; Lincoln, Nebraska—Assisted FmHA loan and grant applicant in developing their loan and grant applications to finance community development projects such as water and sewer systems, hospitals, nursing homes, medical clinics, and other essential community facilities.
