Southwest Regional Water District RLM Engineering, Inc. has performed design services for Southwest Regional Water District. Southwest Regional Water District provides water service to approximately 15,000 users in Butler County, Ohio. Projects include:
Chapel Road Water Main Replacement The prior water main was prone to leaks and breaks as well as limited in capacity. A 10 inch water main was installed primarily within the existing easement to replace the existing water main. The existing water main remained in service until all existing users could be placed onto the new water main. RLM Engineering, Inc. provided plans and specifications, bidding services, and as-built drawings for the project.
An above ground booster station was installed to replace an older less capacity booster station. The station incorporated a solenoid valve to permit flow to bypass the pumps during minimum usage periods, thus saving power costs. RLM Engineering, Inc. provided plans and specifications and bidding services for the project.
New Macedonia and Christian Road Tanks Southwest Regional Water District desired two additional 300,000 gallon elevated water storage tanks for their system. RLM Engineering, Inc. provided plans and specifications and bidding services (and will provide limited construction services) for the project. The project will be under construction in 2006. |
