FAMILY DATA: Birth: 29 May, 1844, at Levdon (difficult to read [perhaps Lebanon]), Russell Co., VA. The only record of his birth was in the family Bible which was destroyed, "when our house took fire and was utterly consumed." Death: 3 November, 1918, at Hutchinson, MN; Parents: Thomas and Sally Bogar; Wife: Pricy Breeding. Married Jan., 1869, in Meeker Co., MN; daughter of Albert and Elizabeth King Breeding. Apparently divorced ca. 1880. Children: living as of 1898: Albert J., born 23 June, 1874. Occupation: farmer; Description: 5 ft, 5 1/2 inches, dark complexion, blue eyes, black hair.

RESIDENCES: After the war - Lawrence Co., Ohio, until Spring, 1866; then to Hutchinson, McLeod Co., MN; in 1873 to Arlington, TX [traveled with Rev. Lewis King and Albert Breeding families]; in 1879 to North Dakota; 1880 back to MN, where he lived in Meeker County (Collinwood Township); 1908 in Hutchinson, MN.
