I was able to find my GGGrandfather who was a 1st. Lt in the 39th KY Mounted Infantry Co E. It isalso noteworthy to mention the 39 th fought at the 2nd battle of Cynthiana.
Not being aware of this until now, last year I helped sponsor a reenactment of this battle in Cynthiana KY and
