Do You know who you are? by: Tommy "PoP" Aaron
Well I do, I'm a Confederate American. You are too if you are a decendent of those Noble Southerners who fought to save our country. The Confederate States was a Soverign nation that had a constitution "very much like the US Constitution", a Congress, elections and appointments to office just as the United States. Taxes were collected and there was a standing army. The Confederate States of America was recognized by most other countries. We became United States Citizens only after we were conquered, just as the rest of North America. Being conquered does not change who we are or where we came from. As any other American be he Irish, German, African or whatever, Can we not call ourselves Confederate American?? From this day onward, I will!!!

Professors show their Ignorance by: Elijah S. Coleman
Gentlemen, now our Yankee, Liberal, and Scalawag professors in S. Carolina have decided that: "The South fought the Civil War over the issue of Slavery," Joyner said.
Well, Gentlemen, the South only fought because Lincoln invaded the South. Once these paid invaders came south, even as the South was trying to avoid war with the much stronger country to the north, every Southerner worth his salt fought for his family, his home, his state, and his country.
When Lincoln was asked: "Why not let the South go in Peace?" he replied: "I can't let them go. Who would pay for the government?"
Like most wars, this one was fought over currency. The South had the funds the Norht wanted. The Virginas, the Carolinas, and Georgia had unfairly paid 75% of the national budget in 1860.
Sincerely, Elijah S. Coleman 501 Collett Ave. Mableton, GA 30126

A list of Northerners who fought for the South:
1. John Pemberton, Penn - Was in charge, at one time, of the Confederate defences at Vicksburg. 2. Rosewell Ripley, Ohio - Became a well known Confederate General. 3. Samual Cooper, New Jersey - Was a desk general at Richmond.
A big thanks to David Miller for the first three names on this list. If you would like to add to it, let me know the info and I'll make it longer. |
