McGregor Mountain Lodge

Whenever we go to Colorado, we stay at McGregor. It's friendly, relaxed, only a mile from the entrance to Rocky and has been recently remodeled. The views are great, and during the winter the place is visited by a herd of bighorn on a daily basis.

When we checked in, they had a freshly cut Christmas tree set up in the cabin. The smell of fresh spruce was almost worth the trip by itself.
