WILDLIFE

One of the high points of a winter visit to Estes is the opportunity to see wildlife close up. On our first day there, we saw a herd of elk accross the street from the Safeway. Another day, Rick and I had four elk walk behind us as we were leaving the Estes Park Brewery. We also had a herd of bighorn behind the cabin every day. All that, and that's not even counting what we saw in the park.
