How can this benefit my business?
Wireless networks can save businesses time and money over traditional wired networks.  In many cases, a company can utilize a wireless connection for high-speed Internet access at speeds and performance well beyond telephone company provided ISDN and modem-based technology.  Connection speeds can vary from 128k to full T-1. With a wireless access point connected to the company’s existing network, all network users can have virtually instantaneous, high-speed access to Internet and E-mail services at a substantial savings over comparable solutions. This is especially desirable when the alternative is to install a modem on every computer. Substantial savings can also be realized by eliminating the need for numerous single-user dial-up phone lines.

Multiple Office Locations
A wireless WAN connection is the most cost-effective method for ensuring peak communication performance between office locations. Our clients are only required to provide a single (10 baseT or 100baseT) port for the access point at their local network hub. With the addition of the access point,  the entire office is capable of receiving high-speed wireless Internet access and E-mail (not to mention the elimination for any modems.) As with other AirComm connections, Internet bandwidth  can also be customized by the client (128k to full T-1).

Mobility
Mobility enables users to physically move while using an appliance, such as a hand-held PC or data collector. Many jobs require workers to be mobile, such as inventory control systems, healthcare workers, police officers and emergency-care specialists.  Of course, wire line networks require a physical tether between the users work station and the network's resources which makes access to these resources impossible while roaming about the building or elsewhere.

Installation in Difficult-to-Wire Areas
Tangible cost savings can be realized when network connectivity is required if rivers, freeways, railroad tracks or other obstacles separate buildings or points you want to connect.  Some structures do not readily lend themselves to traditional wiring methods.  Many municipalities, for example, restrict you from drilling holes for cabling and outlets in historic buildings.  Other applications may include temporary sites and locations that would otherwise be either cost prohibitive, hazardous, cable hostile (corrosive) or labor intensive.
