FALL 2000

Here comes the rain again, and it really sucks when you live in a van.

Well the summer went well but it was definitely time for a change of pace! Our work at the yacht club stopped Labor Day weekend but we had already landed jobs with DSA International and I was making some extra money painting Old Pinky...the same colors. I had people, no kidding, stop and tell me to stop painting the house because buildings aren't supposed to be pink! One lady even tried to convince the landlady that she should reconsider the colors.

We moved out of the house kind of unexpectedly, for our room mate not for us. It was kind of a mean thing to do but she was a real idiot anyway so we didn't much care. Here's the story: We'd been calling around for about 2 weeks trying to find a place to live in Whistler and when we finally found one we wanted to move in right away. Originally we had planned to stay in Vancouver until the end of October but whatever. We were kinda hoping that Marla (click here to see why we called her this) would have gotten the hint with all the calling and packing, but like I said she was an idiot! We started bringing our stuff upstairs and by the third arm full she finally asked "What are you doing?" in her stupid French accent. I just said "Movin' out!" with a big smile on my face and that was that! Man was she pissed at us, we didn't even say goodbye or anything!

We moved up to Whistler and then I went home for a week a couple of days later. When I got back we started working 5 days a week at DSA and going back up to Whistler for the weekends. After the hill opened on the 17th of November we were only working 3 days a week and snowboarding for the other four...sweet deal! Check out Winter for some snowboarding pics!

Here are some climbing pictures that were taken in the summer/fall.
