Sunburst Necklace
sunburst
Once again, excuse my color choice on the tutorial... it looks rather questionable, but the necklace really does turn out pretty if you just don't randomly choose colors in the dark.  I used a main and contrast color in size 11/0 beads, and a 4mm round bead that I refer to as a druk (not actually proper, but much easier than writing out "4mm round bead" everytime.  And now what shall I do with the whole thirty seconds that it saves me.... ;-)
Step 1
All right, in order not to scare anyone off, we'll start out nice and easy.  Attach whatever kind of clasp your little heart desires, then string one contrast and two main beads.  Go back through the contrast bead in order to form a circle.

Step 2
step 2
Take the needle through the two main beads, as shown in the picture.  See, this was even easier than step 1!
Step 3
String 3 main beads, and 1 druk.  Take the needle through the other main bead strung in Step 1 (the one without thread coming out of it).

If what I just wrote above makes no sense (because it doesn't really do anything for me, and I'm the one who wrote it!), just look at the picture.  It is, after all, worth a thousand words!
