Step 1 |
I always like to start out easy so no one gets scared. String 2 core-colored beads, and 18 outside beads. Anyone feeling frightened yet? No? Good. |
Step 2 |
![]() |
This is still pretty simple stuff, I promise. Take your needle through the core color beads and the first outside bead. Yep, we've just made a circle. It's all very exciting. Feel free to bask in the glory of your own work at this point. While I don't make any mention of it, this would be a good time to tie a knot so all your beads don't go flying off the unsecured end. Don't say I didn't warn you. |
Step 3 |

While this picture looks pretty complicated, I promise it really isn't that bad. String 7 center-colored beads. Then, counting the first outside bead we just went through as number one, take your needle back through beads number 10 and 9. Yes, in that order. Trust me on this. Pull everything nice and tight. |
Step 4 |

See, nice and tightly pulled together... doesn't look so terrifying anymore, does it? Your thread should be coming out of outside bead number 9 (I've drawn the helpful red line in case you've managed to forget to do that LIKE I SAID). String 1 center bead, then go through the second-to-last center bead you just strung in the previous step. |

Think of this charming and sweet little bracelet as eternal spring twining around your wrist. Best part of this entire project? The separate flowers hook into each other. In other words, no clasp required! |
You'll need core colored beads, outside color beads, center color beads, and stem color beads. Additionally, you'll need to know how to do even-count flat peyote. The flower pattern is simply an alternate weaving route for Maria Tverdostup's Snowdrop necklace |
