Step 5 |
String 3 center beads. This time, go through the second-to-first center bead strung in step 3. I know, I know... you didn't realize you had to be a math major to make this bracelet. |
Step 6 |

String one more main bead, then go through the 2-4th outside beads. Basically, we have two little bunches of three center-colored beads in the middle of the petal. Remember this--it will come back to haunt you. |

Oooh, I'm combining about 4 steps here, but you guys are so smart, you'll more than be able to keep up with me (well, actually, the little red line is doing all the work, I just take the credit). String 1 main bead. Remember those little bunches of main beads I warned you about? Well, they're baaaaaack. Go through the middle center bead. String 1 center bead. Next, go through the 7th outside bead, and keep that needle traveling until you get to the 13th outside bead aaaaaaaalll the way on the other side. Phew. You've done it. When in doubt, use the little red line in the picture (but I'm still keeping the credit). |
Step 8 |

If you've made it this far, the rest is gravy, baby. Basically, we're redoing step 7 on the other side. String one center bead, go through the middle center bead just hanging around the epicenter of our petal, then string another main bead. Take your needle through the last 3 outside beads (beads 16, 17, 18, for those of you keeping track at home). Finally, go through the two core beads. Voila! One petal done. |
Step 9 |
![]() |
Make 4 more petals by repeating steps 1-8. Keep the petals close to each other on the same thread. When you're done with the 5 petals, find the very first core bead (the one with the red dot in the picture) |
