Step 12
Step 13
Going through the first core bead, well, first, take your needle through all the core beads, which has the nifty effect of pulling your petals into a circle. Go through this circle a few times, just to make it nice and strong.
Now it's time to put a center on our flower.  Using a druk, a pearl, or anything else your little heart desires, secure the bigger bead onto the petals.  Simply go through different core beads on opposite sides. Run the thread through the big bead several times for strengh.
Another step that combines several in order to make the "stem".  Weave a strip of peyote 2 beads wide and 28 rows long.  After you have completed the last row, take the thread through the third row.  Secure the last row and the third row together by going through each several times.  This will give you a nice big circle with a little tiny flat strip.
It's time for that little tiny flat strip to have a moment of glory.  Remember how you attached the big bead to the center of the petals?  Same manuever, different side.  Use the first row of the stem and opposite pairs of core beads to secure the stem to the flower.
Step 14
Congratulations!  You've just completed one flower.  Now, go make a whole bunch of them so you can do cool things like this bracelet.  When you have enough flowers, simply open the circle in the stem, and slide a flower in.  An instantly adjustable, claspless, and super-cheerful, super fun bracelet.
...ashes, ashes...
...we all...
...fall down!
