String one contrast bead. Go back through the two main beads again, thus forming a circle. Okay, in this step, the picture is a little misleading. The blue contrast bead strung in step 5 or 6 has no part in this beading dance. The needle really isn't going through it. So, this picture is only worth, say... 500 words. Half off sounds pretty fair, don't you agree? |
Easy step (about time!). Take your needle back through the contrast bead strung in the previous step. That's all! |
It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's right angle weave! String one main, one contrast, and one main. Go back through the contrast bead so nicely secured into position way back in step 8, thus forming a circle. |
I sort of cheated here and combined a few steps, but I don't think anyone will mind too much. First of all, weave your way over to the contrast bead you JUST strung in step 10. Guess what? You now know the stitch! You are, all of a sudden, back to step 1. Add two main beads, form a circle, and go through the two main beads (steps 1-2). Simply follow from step 3 onward, and you are well on your way to a beautiful necklace...well, as long as you aren't following my tutorial color choice! |
