1Select
the Ellipse Tool.

2Hold
down the Shift Key and drag to make a small circle (this
will make it a true circle). It
doesn't matter what color you make it, because after the Type Tool is
applied to the path it will disappear.
*Note: If you do not hold the shift key while dragging, you will get an Oval, or Ellipse, not a true circle. |

3Select the Path Type Tool, the "T" sitting at a right angle to your surface, as shown. |

4Click
somewhere on the edge of the circle to make an insertion point
on the path.

5If
you have a cursor blinking on the path, then you are ready to
start typing.Type out a few words then continue to the next step.

6To
move the type along the path, use the Selection Tool and select
the Path, then click on the I-Beam in front of the type
and drag it around the circle. The image and animation to the left shows
this in motion.

7To flip the text on the inside of the path, double click on the I-Beam. |
